At Apollo Pizza, great pizza starts with passion, quality, and a dream that was built right here in Wapakoneta. Owned and operated by Bryan and Kelly Wheeler, Apollo Pizza began as a food truck in October 2024 while both continued working full-time jobs. As demand grew and the community embraced their unique style of pizza, Bryan took the leap in March 2025 to focus on the business full-time, followed by Kelly in August 2025.

On August 1, 2025, Apollo Pizza opened its storefront, bringing a fresh pizza experience to Wapakoneta. Inspired by a commitment to premium ingredients, handcrafted recipes, and exceptional flavor, Bryan and Kelly set out to offer something different... pizza made without shortcuts and with quality at the center of every decision.

Born and raised in Wapakoneta, Bryan takes pride in serving the community he calls home. The name Apollo Pizza pays tribute to the city's most famous hometown hero, Neil Armstrong, reflecting the same spirit of ambition, innovation, and local pride that helped launch one of history's greatest journeys.

Today, alongside a dedicated team of employees, Apollo Pizza continues its mission of serving handcrafted pizzas, fresh ingredients, and memorable experiences to families throughout the area, one slice at a time.
